When I was eight, I wore a princess dress with matching heels almost every day and everywhere, even climbing trees. Where most people saw a bad idea, I saw a challenge: how can I make this work the way I want it to?

My family tried to stop me. My friend, who took this picture, tried to stop me. I still climbed the tree anyway. They still say "she can climb a tree in heels" because it’s true. If there is a way to make something unexpected work, I am going to find it.

As a graphic designer focused on advertising, my mindset carries throughout my work. I search for unexpected ways to communicate ideas and push visuals beyond the obvious, creating work that's both intentional and impossible to ignore.

Because let's be honest, who would ignore an eight year old girl climbing a tree in a cinderella dress and bright blue, glitter heels.
